Someone is making me uncomfortable
Tap ••• on their post, their comment or their profile, or at the top of your chat with them, and choose Report or Block. Blocking hides you from each other everywhere, and they are not told. Reporting blocks them too and tells us what happened. We review every report within 24 hours, and content or accounts that break the rules are removed. If you are ever in danger, call 911 first.
How do I delete my account?
In the app: the account menu in the top right, Profile Settings, then Delete account at the bottom. If you are still on the waitlist or setting up, the link is at the bottom of that screen. It happens straight away and cannot be undone. More on what is deleted, and how to ask us if you cannot open the app.
I’m on the waitlist. When do I get in?
Incommon opens city by city, and we review everyone before they are let in. You do not need to do anything else to be considered. Inviting friends moves you up, and finishing your profile while you wait helps, but neither is required.
I joined the list on the website. What happens now?
Nothing, until your city opens. When it does, we text the number you confirmed with a link to download the app. Sign in with that same number and your place on the list comes with you. To come off the list before then, reply STOP to any text from us, or write to hello@dateincommon.com.
How do set ups work?
We look at how you answer the daily prompts and which posts you and someone else both like. Nobody sees that you liked them unless it is mutual. When it is, we introduce you, and you can start talking.
How do I stop the texts?
Reply STOP to any of them, or turn off Prompts by text in Profile Settings. More about the daily texts.
