For interesting people to meet

A dating app built on common ground: a prompt a day and a feed of real moments, not a stack of profiles to swipe.

Incommon is opening city by city, Los Angeles first. Join the list and we’ll text you the moment your city opens.

You should be picky.

A first conversation with a matchmaker, about five minutes. Then a text when your city opens.

Why we started Incommon

Incommon was created to be the first dating app focused on how real, lasting connections actually begin: with common ground, not just a first impression.

Some of us met our person on a dating app, and we’re grateful for it. Getting there wasn’t fun, though. A stack of profiles to judge in ten seconds each, a like that costs you something if it isn’t returned, a match that goes quiet before anyone says hello. And nobody who found their person asks which photo did it. They ask which answer made them laugh. So we built the app around that part: a prompt a day, a feed of real moments, and a set-up only once the interest is mutual. Here is what we think dating should feel like, and how Incommon does it.

Attraction is just the start

You’ll only ever be set up with people you’re drawn to — but we match on what decides whether it lasts: shared humour, values, interests and goals.

Dating should be fun!

The feed is photos and offhand answers you scroll because you enjoy it, not a queue of profiles to sit in judgment on.

Your crushes stay secret

Nobody ever learns you liked them unless they like you back, so putting yourself out there costs you nothing.

Don’t stress it

No single swipe decides anything — by the time you’re set up with someone, you already have something in common to open with.

A community you’d vouch for

Everyone here was approved by us, and after a date you tell us whether you’d want another like it — so patterns surface early.
